Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use PehleVerify. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

PehleVerify is a consumer background verification platform that allows users to request identity, court record, address, credit, and employment verification checks on individuals for specific, lawful purposes including matrimonial consideration, dating safety, domestic help hiring, tenant screening, business partnerships, and employment screening.

All verification data is sourced from official government databases and certified verification infrastructure partners. PehleVerify does not conduct independent investigation, surveillance, or private inquiry.

You agree to use PehleVerify only for the specific, lawful purpose selected at the time of initiating a check. You represent and warrant that:

You have a legitimate reason for requesting the verification. The subject of the verification is 18 years of age or older. You will not use verification results to harass, stalk, discriminate against, defame, or cause harm to the person verified. You will not use the Service to conduct mass, automated, or bulk verification checks. You will not attempt to verify a person without a legitimate purpose falling within the service categories we offer.

You may not use PehleVerify to: verify a minor (person under 18); stalk, harass, or intimidate any individual; make employment, housing, credit, or similar decisions in violation of applicable law; resell, redistribute, or publish verification reports for commercial purposes without our written consent; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the platform; or circumvent, disable, or interfere with the consent and notification mechanisms built into the Service.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities where required by law.

5.1 Requester Mode: You provide the subject's details directly. The subject will receive an SMS notification that a check was initiated, as required under the DPDP Act.

5.2 Consent Link Mode: You initiate a request; the subject receives a secure link to provide their own details and consent directly. The link expires 72 hours after generation.

Verification reports reflect data available in official government databases at the time the check was performed. PehleVerify does not guarantee the completeness, currency, or absolute accuracy of third-party government data. Court records include all case types (civil, criminal, consumer, family) — the presence of a court record does not by itself indicate criminal conduct.

Reports are provided for informational purposes to support your decision-making. PehleVerify is not liable for decisions made based on report contents.

Prices for each verification service are displayed at the time of purchase. Payment is processed via Cashfree Payments. All prices are in Indian Rupees. PehleVerify is currently not GST-registered; no GST is charged on services at this time. This is subject to change if statutory thresholds are met, in which case updated pricing will be displayed.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access (mobile number and OTP). You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Your registered mobile number cannot be changed once your account is created, as it serves as your verified identity anchor.

All content, branding, design, and technology on the PehleVerify platform are the property of PehleVerify India Private Limited and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PehleVerify's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount paid for the specific verification service giving rise to the claim. PehleVerify is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our reports or the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold PehleVerify harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, including any claims brought by a person you verified.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violation of these Terms, including misuse of the verification service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
