We built this because we needed it ourselves.
In 2024, one of our families nearly hired a domestic helper with a hidden criminal record. A neighbour's casual referral. A photocopy of an Aadhaar card. That was the entire vetting process.
We discovered the data to make safer decisions already exists — in official government registries — it just isn't accessible to ordinary families. So we built PehleVerify: a simple, DPDP-compliant way for any Indian household to make trust decisions with facts instead of gut feel.
